Bidrage med feedbackThis place is amazing! The best poke I have had anywhere on the east coast (including Atlanta, which I am really partial to. Their prices per portion are very good. You get a fair share, and then some, for what you pay. So if you are worried about portions for protein and other items, worry not, you won’t be cheated into 4 meager bits of salmon. It is really important to me to purchase sustainably when eating salmon and other common fish used for sushi and poke. They have this covered, and will let you know how and where their salmon was caught.I also truly love that they are LGBTQA+ representative. I cannot say enough good about this place. Fresh ingredients, sustainably sourced food, local ingredients where applicable, great prices, and the staff is really nice.Vegetarian options: Plenty! You can build your own bowl and include only the items you wish.Kid friendliness: There is even a chalk wall where your kids can draw while there.Parking: Super easy, lots of parking lot spotsDietary restrictions: They have GF and lactose free options great for someone with a non celiac gluten sensitivity. However, I would still call ahead to double check procedures before going if you do have Celiacs.
Amended review I want to commend the owner for a very fast response to my review who said they would work on improving the customer service aspect of the business. The food was good, and I would be willing to give them another chance in the future. We finally came here for all the good review since our usual place is closed on Sundays. I don’t knew what happened but the staff seemed really bothered by us coming in first thing in the morning. It is 11AM- early lunch time. They just opened. They already had one customer before us. We were pretty easy and just ordered accordingly and not making any modifications because it’s early and totally understand how annoying that can be. However, the two people that ran the place on 9/4/2022 didn’t seem too happy they were working today. Especially the one with glasses. Not even a smile and basically made you feel you were bothersome because you came in to order a few poke bowl and a sushi burrito which my daughter really wanted. My kids were quiet and respectful too not noisy so I’m very confused. Maybe they had a bad morning but as someone working the counter, you don’t put it on your customer. I’ve worked in the same industry before so I will judge you by that. I am quite disappointed with the customer service.
I had the Courageous bowl and it was spicy! The guy who prepared my food was really friendly; forgot to get his name. The raw fish and ingredients were all very fresh. I’ll definitely come back because of this good experience!I went to the Morrisville location around 1pm!
The burrito has a good ratio of seafood-to- add ons , unlike some other sushi burrito restaurants I 've tried in NYC/DC. The miso ginger sauce wasn 't too salty and a great contrast to the rest of the ingredients you can select from. Price-wise, the burrito is just about the price of a single specialty roll you 'd order at most sushi places, so between the taste and the value, it 's an easy 5-star experience.
I'm a big fan of sushi, so the sushi burrito is like a dream meal to me: what's better than a super-sized sushi roll that you pick up with your hands?I was visiting from out of town and looking for a quick meal, and when I found a spot with sushi burritos, I was all in. Unfortunately, they didn't have the wraps for burritos when I was in, so I got the poke bowl version of the burrito I would have had (the Courageous) and absolutely adored it. The person running the shop was awesome; super kind and helpful on offering me the different options to add on.I'm no stranger to poke bowls and sushi burritos, and think this might have been the best one I ever had. I'll definitely be back!!
