La Mex - Morris

I had dinner at La Mex with my family and we started by ordering three regular margaritas (12 oz, medium size). The service was excellent; our waitress was friendly and attentive. However, the salsa was quite bland and watery. Overall, the food was just average for what you would expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. We were taken aback when we received the bill, which totaled $60 for the three margaritas. When we inquired about the high price, the staff explained the prices to us. For comparison, my local Mexican restaurant in St. Louis charges $7.95 for a medium margarita.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. If you haven't dined here before, you definitely should!
