' Their cash register had already been updated with the new name when I looked at my receipt. <br/ <br/ This restaurant is nestled in a small shopping center, so expect cramped parking. Also note that there is an auto shop next to the restaurant. <br/ <br/ If you go to this restaurant please brush up on your Spanish or bring someone that has some grasp of Spanish because most of the employees either do not speak English or act like they do not.<br/ <br/ We arrived at there restaurant around 12:00PM and there was only one other person dining in. Most of the people that came in after us made to go orders.<br/ <br/ The place was decently decorated and had plenty of seating. There was a flat panel LCD TV mounted to the wall on the right side of the restaurant, but it was not turned on when we dined in.<br/ <br/ I tried to order either of their meals that had the chile relleno, but they did not have it. I ended up ordering their flautas meal and a canned soda. They bring out a bowl of tortilla chips and some sort of queso ? for you to snack on while you wait on your food. That was a bit of an awkward moment for me because the grandmother[? working there tried to speak Spanish to me. The food arrived in a decent amount of time. The two ladies, who brought the food out to us, also tried to speak Spanish to us. <br/ <br/ Despite the language mix up all the employees still seemed pretty friendly.<br/ <br/ I thought my meal was delicious. The beans were a bit different or maybe they were actually an entirely different food they had more of a soupy consistency which I thought was fine and I still liked it.<br/ <br/ This is another viable option if you have a hankering for Mexican food just keep in mind that if you do not have a grasp of Spanish then you might be in for a bit of a hassle when ordering.
Recently opened Taqueria. Taqueria Fuentes is facing the difficult task of achieving success in a location that other taquerias have failed. Recently, this location was home to Valencia's Tacos and Joker's Tacos prior to that. Taqueria Fuentes is attempting to break the streak of losers by offering both authentic Mexican-style food, while still presenting Mexican-American plates. With so many Mexican-American restaurants around, it is refreshing to see that a few are starting to present dishes in the way that native Mexicans will eat. Definitely worth trying.
Very good!! I was looking for a simple place to have some tasty street style tacos and came across this place. I started with some al pastor tacos and they were exactly what I was craving. The meat had great flavor and the sauce they gave us on the side was really good/spicy too. My girlfriend had the quesadilla with carne asada and she enjoyed every bit of it. I did have a bite of it and the cheese and meat tasted fresh. The meat was cut in thick pieces and also had great flavor. The service was good, and the the owners/employees were very friendly. The place was kept clean as well. I noticed they serve chilaquiles and other breakfast items but only until 12 or so. I will be definitely going back to try their chilaquiles and/or other things. Enjoy!!
