The Jolly Miller Cafe Essendon

My family had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch at this cafe. The food was delicious, and all 12 of us enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent, especially considering how busy it was on Mother's Day. We will definitely be returning.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and will definitely return, though not too frequently. The food was delicious, I had the mushroom medley for brunch. Everything on the plate, from the mushrooms to the sourdough and relish, was of high quality and cooked perfectly. The coffee was also good, but leaned towards the bold/strong side. The pricing was a bit high for a cafe, but considering the quality of the ingredients and the nice, clean, simple, and stylish interior, it was worth it. This isn't a place I would go to every day, but I would definitely consider it for a special treat.

I love coming to this cafe in my neighborhood for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. The staff is excellent, and the coffee here is top-notch. I heard they are starting a new menu soon.

It was New Year's Day and they were extremely busy as there were only two places open in the area As we were seated there was no notice of a delay people were being served constantly ..After a 20min wait the waiter advised there would be a 30 min wait on food and drinks .. no prob we weren't in a rush ..... 1 hour later after everyone who came in after us was served the waiter came back and apologised they had lost our order my friend cancelled her order so all they had to bring out was a bowl of wedges and a milk shake we waited another 15 mins !! I get it you were busy but there is no excuse at the end the cafe was pretty much empty would I go back maybe if there was no one else around

When others in the area were full or just did not care, these folks showed a sincere interest in people looking for somewhere top eat and so we happily waited. Even then, barely five minutes because staff were so efficient. Then the foos was just great. Wow.
