Cru Uncorked - Moreland Hills

My first time here and had an excellent experience. Came here for date night with hubby. The ambiance is good for a variety of occasions. There is a dark lounge type area for small gatherings. There is a bar area for a bit of a causal bite. We were seated in a large room with lots of natural light that was more formal. The staff were really kind, and service was timely. We got cocktails, which were yummy. We didn't try their wines this time, but will plan on doing that next time. We had the lamb tartare, and squash blossoms. I am officially a fan of squash blossoms now. Hubby had the duck, which was flavorful, and I had the Corn Agnolotti. Decent potion sizes for the price and we loved everything we ate. Telling everyone to come here, and can't wait to come back myself and try more.

Disappointed, I have hosted events here and have dined numerous times, today the food was terrible, It took a lot time to get the entrees. I ordered the duck, it tasted finny and was impossible to chew, I traded that with Halibut, it was overcooked. Not expected not to have a good dinning experience at cru on my Birthday.
