Le Fangourin - Morcellement St Andre

We loved our visit here the best restaurant we have been to in Mauritius so far. The service was great and super kind, the food stellar and the view with the palm trees and mountain beautiful. We especially enjoyed the mauritian dishes, as well as the lava chocolate cake. It was SO good! We can really recommend stopping here, even if you do not visit the Museum. It is really that good! Prices are also really OK and the same or cheaper as in all the other restaurants we stayed at.

Best food we had in Mauritius. Absolutely delicious, for a good price! We loved all the incredible flavours. Very lovely and beautiful restaurant. Amazing and friendly service. Wish we could come back! We had the tuna, the sausage and the creme brulee.

The best part after the Sugar Factory Museum tour is le Fangourin restaurant. The food, drinks (try the cocktails), and atmosphere is excellent. Vikash and Nicolas are both great, and will take good care of you. Must visit!!!

Really lovely restaurant. We had wonderful service from Nicolas and Vikash! All the food was delicious and I appreciated the emphasis on local style cuisine! Definitely try the Mauritian platter if you’re not sure what to get, you’ll get a bunch of a small bites and it’s all wonderful. Also, a word to the wise: the Lazy Dodo cocktail is dangerous Order at your own risk!

After our trip to the botanical garden and the sugar factory, we enjoyed a selection of very tasty vegetarian local specialities at Le Fangourin. Not only is the food a dream, but the cocktails (definitely try the Gimber! and the view of a park and the mountains are great.
