We decided to try the banquet as we had never had Lebanese food before. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the small portions and high prices. Despite this, some in our group felt the food was okay, just overpriced. The staff reminded us twice that we needed to leave by 9 pm. At 8:30, while we were still eating, we were asked to settle the bill. By 8:45, we were finished eating and had to leave as they needed to clean up. We were rushed out the door at 8:50, with another table of three also being asked to leave. One person commented that it was the first time they had been kicked out of a restaurant. We suggest finding a place where your patronage is appreciated and avoid places like Alooshi that treat customers as if they are doing them a favor by allowing them in. Thank you.
Because the service is terrible! we were here a few times and twice it was said that we were not allowed to order engaged while we were waiting for other members of our party to arrive. Last night we had 2 guests who arrived later than the rest of our party, and I was told on the phone when the restaurant confirmed our booking that they had to order at 18.30 a.m. the waitress was really nice, but the owner was rude and did not want to allow us to order something we had to order together at the same time. I'm not sure I want to go back, even if it's good to eat. who needs to be treated like that if you paid a night?
When we first tried to go here, they were booked! when we came home, we realized that they took away (approved the bad service when we decided we had to try this place). we took the following week and it was lovely! we will eat it next time to try the complete menu.
I am here several times with friends, eating is really great; very filling. it is not a cheap restaurant as most people are used, but in saying that the food quality reflects the price. I have to say every time I have been...here to dinner it is very busy and it is worth calling ahead to book a table that I see there are many bad reviews here for the service; I had never had a problem between my friends and I cost them never went over $50 and we had drinks, a pornstar and a poster divided. but also note that they do not share the bill.
Firstly I am excited that there is something new on the sunny coast and that is good traditional vibrant Lebanese cuisine! Secondly WOW, great food great value and great staff! Third thing reading these reviews it's great to see good feed back more then bad...feed back... I can sit here write for ages as to how my experience at alooshi was guys get there and try it... I love it...
