Fire Oak Montvale

Yesterday we held a surprise birthday party in the balcony room with 17 people in this restaurant and it was amazing! This place is stunning when you open the door to dinner. We had many different starters, Sushi, Mac and Cheese, Fritten, Surfing and Turf, Filet Mignon, and everything was great. A lot of credit goes to the waiter we had. He didn't mix, forget or make mistakes. People we move and the waiter made sure everyone got what they ordered. He was so great that we talked about it the day after and I just had to mention it. The private room was soooooo perfect for the event. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants a guaranteed Slam Dunk on chic decor, delicious food and genuine service.

Fire and Oak is one of the few restaurants that consistently offers delectable appetizers and entrees accompanied with outstanding service. Recently we dined on Tuesday enjoying a superb wedge salad, ribs and outstanding truffle fries. Our lovely server Kylie was prompt, friendly, professional and engaging. Our experience was so enjoyable, we returned on Thursday and were delighted with that wonderful wedge salad again, which is the best I have ever had, along with a delectable fusilli pasta dish with chicken and perfectly balanced sauce, plus a Filet mignon quesadilla which was dynamite delicious! Our server was Ali who enhanced our dining experience with her wit, on point service and engaging personality as well. Hats off to the chef and Thank You Fire and Oak!

We were in the area and went here for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is warm and inviting and has an upscale/ cosmopolitan vibe. The staff are well trained and service-oriented. The menu contains an eclectic assortment of high quality options to meet just about anyone's palate. All of the food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. From the coconut shrimp appetizer to the entrees like the chicken fusilli pasta to the fish sandwich and an absolutely delishish special menu item of filet quesadillas. Highly recommend a trip here for a delicious meal, cozy and upscale environment and great service.

This place was awesome. The burgers and ribs were both super tasty, but the highlight for me was the pizza! Detroit style pizza, super crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The only problem is the price of everything, but I wouldn?t knock points off because the food and service is very good. Definitely check this spot out for a low key, upscale dining experience. Update on previous review after a great experience last year, we booked my fathers 60. Birthday dinner here Saturday evening for 6:30 for 9 people. We arrived on time and our waitress was very sweet. We ordered apps and they came extremely fast and were great. Things turned around as soon as our entrees came out. They could say that many articles were hurried and not cooked to the quality we had experienced before, but we were still enjoying our time. Soon after they brought the cake we had for his birthday without warning, and then immediately after they asked the review that we did not ask, and also never was asked if we wanted coffee or tea, which was strange. We had to call the waitress back to take the check back and ask for coffee. The mood of the staff at this point was completely different from when we arrived first, and it was clear that they wanted us what is extremely frustrating when you try to enjoy a celebration. When we started to go, they didn't even wait for us to go or all stand up and jumped to clear the table while we were still there, which was very rude for the quality of the restaurant, they claim to be. When we went out, we saw another big party waiting to sit. Management or the Hostess reservations should really not have tables like this back to back as both parties have a bad experience (our rushed and the next party has to wait). I would be more understanding if we were told that we had to be out at a certain time, like a 2 hour limit that I know some restaurants do, but that never happened. We came there at 6:30 and went out at 8:50. While the apps and drinks were good, and our waitress was sweet, management must get her act together when the reservations on a busy Saturday night.?????? came here for a birthday dinner and the service and the food were amazing. Warm, but worth the price in every aspect, what makes a great culinary experience.
