Bidrage med feedbackHere I buy my fried eggs, they look gray because they are frozen, but when you cook them they are super realistic. Speaking realistic, her bacon could probably fool a meat eater! Updated by previous review on 2022-03-26
Good place to buy fake meat. There are many possibilities. Many montreal restaurants use the fake meat from this place. I recommend trying mushroom chicken and mushroom sauce.
I literally met this place at least once a week. They carry all kinds of mock meat, perfect for family meals, fast snacks or regular diners! My Favs are the general Tao “Chicken” and the “Enten” protocol. I also love their Teriyaki Shiiitake sauce, perfect for agitators! Oh, and in any case try the mushroom chicken; their simplest base product, perfect for Fajitas or Tacos! I even make chickens Alfredo Pasta with it! Love love love this place. Also, since they are a delivery business, I think you can order large quantities and have delivered them! Perfect to stack if you are not in Montreal: Ps: 90% of their products are vegan. The vegetarians are clearly marked, so there is no problem.
I had dinner in this Paradis végétarien. The place is small and has nothing special but the owner is really friendly. This is mainly a shop of veggie taiwanese products. In terms of food, I took a dish of lamb with oyster sauce (that was quite strange for a vegan when ordering) but it was good enough and vegan. I 'm generally not very fond of this kind of food but I appreciated the place and the dinner.
We found the mock meat a bit too intensed, i really prefer to eat vegetable instead of the soy products in the chicken shape. However, i understand that, this is the style of Taiwanese vegetarian food in general. The sauce was not inspiring and overall, i found the food really so so. My husband called this restaurant chicken shop , we had been there twice and the last time, we ordered something chicken and it came with in the shape of chopped chicken thigh. Service was really good though. You have to go up through the stair case, so it is not baby pram friendly even though they do have high chair for children. In consider to the other really good reviews here, i think, i would give the place another try. May be we were really just missing out something!
