Thai Express - Montréal

I do not recommend this restaurant. I usually enjoy Thai Express, but this particular location was disappointing. I ordered the General Thai Chicken and it was not good at all. The chicken was soggy instead of crispy and had a strong taste of oil. The service was too fast, causing my food to sit in the sauce before I even had a chance to eat. The only good part of the meal was the baked rice.

This restaurant serves small portions and the prices are a bit higher than other restaurants. The meat does not taste fresh.

I ordered the stir-fry with extra sauce to go, but it ended up being like a soup soaking in watery sauce. It not only tasted bad, but the to-go container couldn't hold all the liquid and it was dripping all the way home.

We got pad thai, shrimp Thai soup and green curries here. When we asked extra spicy he made it truly extra spicey! DeliciousThe curries were saucier than usual and there was a generous portion of plump shrimp in my soup. Recommend.

Watch out for their chicken… big chunk of chunky hard fat in it, more fat then actual meat! My worse Thai ever!
