Taverne Gaspar - Montréal

Beautiful but limited menu for brunch and small portion. Food wasn't warm, even cold in a place. If you're here, you'll find it good, but I'd go out the way to eat there and I won't go back.

We had brunch. Great. Gourmande Breakfast for my wife and children, and Lachsgravlox on a St Viateur Bagel for me. Friendly service. Great location. Will be back.

I made reservations 8 days ago. When I arrived and announced my arrival at 7:20 for the 7:30 reservation, I was immediately accompanied to the worst table in the joint. WTF? I had to ask another table and it was granted to me, I had expected a reserved marker on a table when I arrived, but not such a service. Why did I take the time to make the reservation? The cocktails were very good!!

Nice ambiance, especially for a cosy dinner. Food was great, service impeccable.

Great location, service was slow for a Thursday night which was not super busy.
