Sandouchon - Montréal

Served on a wooden board, the presentation of the meal was impressive. The yuka fries provided a refreshing change from the typical fries or sweet potato fries often served with sandwiches, and the accompanying spicy sauce added the perfect kick. However, I did notice that the fries became a bit heavy and starchy as they cooled down, so they are best enjoyed hot. Upon biting into the sandwich, I immediately knew that it was one of the best sandwiches I had tasted in a long time. Each component, from the perfectly toasted bun to the crispy sweet potato chips, contributed to its exceptional flavor. The standout was the crispy chicken coated in hoisin sauce. My only critique of the sandwich is that it was quite messy to eat, with ingredients dripping everywhere from the first bite. The chop chop salad was too watery, adding to the messiness. If the salad had less moisture, the sandwich would be easier to eat. Despite the messiness, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the sandwich.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Located in a strip mall, they offer a variety of gourmet Peruvian burgers made with duck heart, chicken, beef, pork, and fish, all served with delicious sauces. The food was both delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying it out and being adventurous - the duck heart burger was particularly impressive. I would give this place a rating of 8 out of 10.

These burgers are unique and exotic. The mixture of unique ingredients, along with the different marinated meats and sauces, make for a very special gastronomical experience. Side-dish of Yuka Fries: Equally unique and yummy. I would recommend the chicken burger...The only suggestion I would make is to add more selection of side-plates that are Peruvian-originated and perhaps add dessert selections. But I will be back to try another burger!

Tad more expensive than the normal fast food joint but the food is delicious. Service was acceptable.

Not typical burgers, they are peruvian style sandwiches, you can chose between several different meats like duck hearts, chicken, beef, pork, fish, squid and one with hamburger and hot dog sausage. One great plus are the yuka fries (much better than french fries) that are awesome. As a barzzilian fan of yuka fries, I can say these are pretty good ! Also available traditional peruvian soft drinks like Inca Cola and Chicha Morada. It is in a mall food court in the montreal underground city, Les cours mont-royal.
