Bidrage med feedbackSince La Paryse is closed, I've been looking for another satisfying burger and that's it: her burger Belle-Sœurs is a thing of beauty. Lamb meat, spinach, Swiss cheese, on a brioche like rolls. I ordered it here for 20 years and I still think it's one of the best burgers in Montreal. Your fries are also very good. Not a fan of her poutins, the taste in the sauce is for me, something about cloves in it I'm not a fan of. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly, highly recommended.
On some wise way they like them, but do not overlook them the chopped eggs. the side dishes make it especially in the city: bakeries, pastete and classic Montréal style bagel! (by the way, look at the running in the bathroom.
That was a great find! We only had half an hour before we left our AirBnB to drive to the airport, and this place was just a few blocks away. Located on the corner of a cozy neighborhood, this place had the best burger we cost in Canada. Sure, the idea of Koleslaw and Relish on my burger was a little strange, but it worked and it was delicious! I don't know what the bungalow was, but it seemed like a kind of pretzel/ball hybrid that wished me I could take a bag of these rolls home.
Mid-size, no fancy place to have burgers in Le Plateau area. The customer are mainly locals. The restaurant is also acting as a kind of arts gallery. The service is always good. The meals are great, fresh and tasty. We can not say the price...are cheap but they are ok on a quality/price perspective. You have to take a look at the bathroom.
Enjoyed our lunch here. It is like a step back in time with the lunch counter and stools, a few tables, and the even the unisex bathroom is worth seeing! Our server was charming. My French isn't so great and she quickly moved into English...for me. I was disappointed that they didn't have the special advertised on the blackboard out front, but my hamburger was very tasty. The buns are soft and unique.....like egg bread. Interesting combo of grated carrots and mustard on the burger. Fries were decent. The cafe moka was good. The order of 2 crepes sublime (Apple and cheese) was very large and really good with the maple syrup. All in all, I would return to this little neighbourhood grill.
