Restaurant La Grotte - Montréal

Bad benedictines. Also bad waiters. nobody served us for 15minutes after we sat down. the manager does only decorations there walking around. last time when we came, we even saw mice running under tables. disgusting

We stopped for a bite after travelling. My friend had a burger and myself and another friend had the pasta. All the meals were very tasty. Our server was very friendly.

We decide to organize our wedding lunch in this restaurant, the owner and all staff were super happy and helped us in all our requests!!! The service was fast and all our 40 guests were very satisfied. All was perfect, food, location, organization... Of course we will come back with our friends!!! Vote 10/10

We had a great time here! we had a group of 4, and got a great corner table on the patio. We tried some of the tapas, and the prime rib steak, chicken macaroni and salmon with vegetables. The food was really good. But more than anything else, we loved the service. The server (Justine) was a ray of sunshine. She came to our table every 20 minutes or so and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She took the time to get to know us, where we were visiting from, where we were staying, if we were enjoying our stay. But not in a small talk kind of way, she seemed genuinely interested and just seemed like a very fun person. The owner also stopped by and talked to us and was SUPER friendly. Towards the end of our evening, Justine brought over shots of tequila for us on the house, she said the owner had sent them, we insisted and she had one with us. That was very very sweet of them and really made our night. It 's a small gesture but it goes to show how much they value their customers. We 're definitely going to be visiting this place again the next time we are in Montreal! They went above and beyond to give us a memorable experience. Thank you!!!

Stopped for late evening dinner. The eponymous burger was very good but the bun a bit tired nd fries had an end of the evening flavour. Service was efficient on a relatively quiet night.
