But again, offer a large variety. The other side is a small “cafe” that offer dim sum, milk tea, steam pork buns (tasty) and other Chinese baked goods/meals. I would come back for the steamed buns and to try their egg tarts.
Really big selection of delicious and good-looking pastries. The cat buns and cakes are so cute!! Fast service.
5 stars for the mochi. We tried mango (coconut and peanut filling), honeydew (coconut and peanut filling), and taro (black sesame filling). The mochi skin was flavoured well subtle sweetness, fruity, without being artificial tasting. They’re generous with the filling.
A delight for the taste buds and the wallet, this landmark bakery in the heart of Montreal’s Chinatown is a must-visit for snacks to eat right away on Rue De La Gauchetière and to bring home. Not pictures is my baked not steamed) barbecue pork bun, which was airy, delicious, sweet, and savory. A little more meat to dough ratio would be lovely, but for the cost $3) I’ll just know to order two next time. It now takes credit and debit cards, which hasn’t always been the case. Friendly and efficient service.
My favourite bakery in Chinatown. A wide selection of sweet and savoury treats. They also have mochi and cute steamed buns in the shape of animals. A large selection of bubble tea as well. Def recommend stopping by
