If you enjoy poutine and traditional Montreal cuisine, this restaurant is a fantastic spot frequented by locals. The portion sizes are small, but in a good way. The long line outside is a clear indicator of the quality of the food, especially with all the competition on St. Laurent. You can watch the chefs prepare your meal and receive your fries in a paper bag. Just be cautious of the unicycle gang hanging out in front of the restaurant.

I decided to stop by Patati Patata to try their poutine after hearing that they were on lists for the best poutine in Montreal. Upon entering, the server asked if I wanted to dine in or take out, and seated me when I chose to dine in. The restaurant is small and cozy, with only 2 tables and bar seating. You pay at the front when you finish your meal. The poutine was tasty, with plenty of cheese curds and delicious gravy. I felt that the fries could have been a bit crispier, and because there were so many cheese curds, the gravy cooled down quickly and didn't create that classic cheesy pull. Overall, the atmosphere and service were great.

Attention cheese curd enthusiasts, this is the place for you to indulge in some delicious poutine! This charming little restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite. While the fries are a bit softer than I prefer, they are still quite tasty and enjoyable.

We got the poutine and the hot dog. The hot dog was tiny but good. We asked for extra cheese and gravy for our poutine and they did not mess around.

Seriously one of the best places for sliders. I can't believe how reasonable and filling the sliders were. This restaurant is one of the many which made me feel sad that I don't live in Montreal. Their fries are great too. I had the spicy tofu slider which was amazing and the slaw on the slider was also zesty and yum. If I get back to Montreal, I will make it a point to revisit this place.
