Mai Xiang Yuan - Montréal

After visiting Montreal several times, this restaurant has become a must-visit on my list of dining options.

I visited this restaurant on a cold Sunday night and left feeling very satisfied. The restaurant specializes in serving only dumplings as the main dish.

I enjoy a delicious, traditional boiled dumpling, and Mai Xiang Yuan serves them perfectly.

We went here for dinner and waited fifteen minutes. It was worth it but I wish that we came early to get steam dumplings because when they are busy, they either boil or fry and they will not prepare half and half. The fried dumplings are chewy and not as good as the boiled dumplings. They only accept cash. Very good and large portions. Highly recommend.

We frequently eat dumplings and during our visit to Montreal, we stumbled across this small restaurant in Montreal's Chinatown. The restaurant was small and seating was limited but we were amazed at how delicious their dumplings were. better than expected. Unfortunately service was not as friendly as staff too busy trying to seat customers. This restaurant was rated top 3 Chinese restaurants and their certificate of excellence is posted on the front window. Recommend visiting.
