Hippi Poutine - Montréal

A very relax social place with a large choice of tasty poutines This place was recommended to us by young students and it appeared indeed to be a very attractive and relax place for young people. Place to eat/drink, read, socialize… each of us selected a different poutine and the youngest one did not resist to take an additional one, so tasty they all were. Portions are large, service is fine and we were served rapidly; there were not many clients when we arrived at 2pm.

The food is good, the owner was really nice and the restaurant has a unique touch to it. I would definitely recommend it!

As a person living with coeliac disease finding a fully gluten free poutine resteraunt with a dedicated fryer was difficult in Montreal. Hippi Poutine was able to fry the fries in a separate fryer on top of having gluten free gravy.

While this restaurant may not be the most polished, the Poutine was delicious and our server was very friendly! It's perfect for a casual lunch or afternoon snack.

A small, unassuming little restaurant with very good food. There’s seating inside and outdoors on a small but pleasant patio. I had the regular poutine. I was excellent. Lots of gravy and cheese curds. Nice size portion too. Quite frankly, the meal we had at Hippi was much better than our meal at the famous La Banquise. Better atmosphere too since it was not so noise and crowded. I strongly recommend it.
