Bidrage med feedbackI've been ordering from them for the last couple of years, usually very satisfied. I don't know what happened lately but the food does not taste the same. It's extremely sweetened, less spices, smaller portions and the naan bread came undercooked and half the usual size. I called to complain, as not only they didn't listened, but started convincing me I'm wrong. I would not recommend them anymore and definitely would not order anymore
The samosas were basically a flour and water paste. I returned the butter chicken (which I can actually cook . The version here is (reheated? tastes like it very white chicken kibbles dowsed in some oil with all the contents of a sugar bowl (Grandma, is your sugar bowl missing? They offered to replace it with chicken masala which was just as sweet but spicy (Grandma, what else are you missing? I wanted to resolve this but I had to clear my head so I went outside for a cigarette. There was a couple outside hissing at each other in low tones (not like cats in heat . So I moved a bit up the street for privacy (whose? I think now. And there 's the guy from the restaurant running after me, accusing me of skipping the bill because I, in his words, 'walked too far, ' Oh, well, buddy, you walked a long distance from any idea of food. And why does every piece of meat have those burnt cat ears on it so you know it was cooked before and just reheated with the aforesaid ears poking out of the sauce of the minute? Oh, the bread is mouldy.
The best place to eat Indian spicy food in Montreal on St-Laurent Boulevard. Alone or with a friend, you will be very happy to discover this small restaurant. Enjoy !
Curry is one of my 12-year old's favourite foods, and butter chicken tops her list, so we were looking forward to dinner at this place. Unfortunately, the butter chicken was so sweet as to be almost inedible; neither of us had seconds and we left the dish unfinished. Everything else (aloo peas, rice, naan) was fine, but overall, we ended up being disappointed. It's a small, simple restaurant in Mile End, a few blocks from the Métro. We cabbed it from downtown, but took the subway back. We would not return.
We ordered a $60 takeout dinner for four people from Masion de Cari Golden on a Friday night. The order came cold, one dish was missing, and the portions were tiny. When I called they said they were too busy to send the forgotten dish to us. Definitely avoid. There are many other excellent Indian restaurants in Montreal.
