Dunn's Famous Decarie - Montréal

Well, what can I say about this awful place. I was planning to go in and have my lunch for the first time ...but I couldn 't make it because ...this is the story :I drive a modest bicycle instead of a luxurious car ,and I was securing my bike in private section for the restaurant ,when an asian worker lady around 50 years, came out from the restaurant In a hurry, and instead to ask me first ,she kicked me and my bike as soon as she open her mouth... : This is private property, you can 't put your bike there and she closed the door. Didn 't give time to explain anything. Of course I changed my mind to go in, in a place where they are prejudice against people coming on bikes,evidently. But i decided to call her again to clarify the misunderstanding, and tell her that in fact ,I was a potential customer,and she was been rude in not even asking, but instead, she was rude again and said : I 'm sorry and she left like nothing ,like telling I don 't care .i don 't know about the food but if this is the kind of service this restaurant offer, I can 't imagine how bad the food can be. Workers are not happy there apparently. So, I will NOT recommend this place to anyone, that 's for sure.

The food here is a true feel and taste of Montréal. It's one of my top three choices for smoke meat in this city.Service here is awesome. Dinning in or taking out they are fast and efficient. I can't remember if they ever messed up an order for myself or family.Atmosphere is a little tacky but gives a Montréal vibe you won't find anywhere else.

Went to Dunn's with a group of 7 while visiting Montreal for work. I visited the downtown location in the fall and recommend Dunn's as an authentic local option for the group.I ordered the latkes to start. They weren't as good as the downtown location but were still ok. I went with the super combo smoked meat for the main and upgraded the fries to poutine. The smoked meat is amazing, the main reason I recommend Dunn's to the group. The portion size are extremely generous, great value for the price.The menu is extremely extensive, definitely an option for everyone's tastes. I would recommend hitting up a Dunn's Famous location when in Montreal. Can't wait to return.

Hi, the portions are quite large monster is even the poutine was great the Montreal smoked meat at three different levels of fatness, lean, medium and juicy a.k.a. super fatty but full of flavor. The drinks are refillable which is nice can sometimes be a hard thing to find in Montréal. The portions start about 30 bucks a plate, so do you expect a bill over 100 bucks if you’re going but also come out on a real empty stomach and prepare be prepared to take half of your meal home at least artist lasted us for three meals which is pretty good and the food was amazing. If you’re in Montreal, you gotta get yourself a smoked meat sandwich and you already know this because you’re reading this and you were thinking about where am I going to get my Montreal smoked meat sandwich which there’s lots of places to get it, it’s just happened to be where I got it this time and I couldn’t afford to get it anywhere else afterwards
