Nice little neighbourhood restaurant which is within walking distance for us. We had dinner there on a Saturday. We ate from the daily special menu and it was very tasty. They can accommodate people who require gluten free food. They have a nice choice of wines and service is very friendly and professional. We will certainly be back.

I absolutely love going on trips, and I have been to Montreal many times. Whenever I visit, I always make sure to dine at Restaurant Colbert. It is the best restaurant in the whole city of Montreal. The food here is simply divine. From the pastas to the pizzas to the desserts, everything is amazing. My personal favorite is the dulce de leche. The service is exceptional as well.

Have been here twice since visiting montreal. Food is good hometown italian food. Service is exceptional and the owner will accommodate any of your requests and prices are reasonable.

This is by far one of our preferred restaurants in Montreal. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. Add to this that the prices are well below what we see elsewhere in Montreal, and you get a winner.

Upon arrival, our waiter promptly served us a bottle of the house white wine along with a complimentary basket of toasted garlic bread and a bowl of tomato topping, which was a pleasant surprise as many restaurants charge extra for such a simple appetizer. We both opted for the Italian lamb chops accompanied by a variety of fresh vegetables, which was recommended by the owner. He mentioned that it is not always available on the menu due to the difficulty in sourcing the perfect cut of meat to meet his standards. Our meal also included a pasta dish with olives and pork tenderloin in the sauce, adding to the overall delightful experience. The service was excellent, attentive but not rushed, and the food presentation was impressive. While it may not have been a 5-star experience, the quality of the food and service made it feel like one. The tables for two or four were conveniently located in a semi-secluded area, providing a romantic setting for our dinner. Although the restaurant was busy on Saturday nights and the noise level was slightly high, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening thanks to the wonderful service by Pasquale.
