Chez Carl - Montréal

The thin-crust pizza with generous toppings, especially the margherita, was delicious. The pasta dishes, such as the gigi and bolognaise, were also generous with hearty sauce. We started with a tasty Calamari appetizer. The service from the young and friendly staff made for a pleasant evening. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace, shielded from traffic by trees and a fence. The restaurant was busy, so making a reservation might be a good idea, even though it's not necessary.

I strongly recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant during the pandemic as the food was excellent. The pizza was crispy and tasty, and the pasta was really good. Highly recommended!

I ordered a pizza and calamari for delivery. The order arrived 40 minutes later, which the person taking my order had informed me was the standard wait time. Unfortunately, the pizza was cold and the crust was hard and rubbery. The bread crumbs on the calamari were all over the place. It was such a disappointing experience that I have decided not to eat there again because of the poor service. The last two times I ordered for pickup, I specifically asked for the pizza to be cut into 4 slices so I could eat it in the car. They agreed to this request, but when I returned to pick up my order, the girl at the counter said they had decided not to cut it. What kind of excuse is that? If that was the case, why didn't they just cut it and put it in the box? The staff is terrible and unprofessional, and the friendly atmosphere is no longer present. It is clear that all they care about is making money and receiving tips. I do not recommend this place. I was in Toronto last week and had pizza at Pizzeria Libretto and General Assembly Pizza for the same price, and the quality was incomparable, no exaggeration. I am extremely disappointed in Chez Carl and will never return.

We had all pizzas. they were really good for some of them, they were really unique/original. great taste, service was good and price was really affordable. good value for money.

Large choices but basically many are only slightly different. The price is high for a Pizza place, but it would seem that people like it and will frequent it. By the way, not the best Pizza on Nun's Island
