Boom J's Cuisine - Montréal

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Montreal and they have the best Jerk chicken I've ever tasted! It was my first time to visit Boom J's and I will definitely go back! The taste of their Jerk season is so good that it's... right on the bone. There is a beautiful spice and heat taste with a touch of sweetness. Just write this review makes my mouthwater and want to order more!

This place is incredible. I'm a big fan of roti wrap, and the Patties- the Patties are 2$ and I've spent a shameful amount since life nearby. The chicken is always good, and the 7$ lunch menu is a bargain. One of the best parts of the point!

Stunned on this jewellery while they are dressed to the smell of the amazing jerk that they cook outside the restaurant. I ordered a 15$ plate of pork, huh, rice tart and salat. the parts were huge! I had enough food for two meals. very tasty sauce and delicate meat. no trip to Pointe-Saint-Charles will be completed without stopping at boom j for me.

Was in the city for the weekend, had the curry goat roti. really good and they did not throw on the meat! I love it so much that I went back to lunch the next day.

I don’t know what restaurant the people who rated this place low went to, because it certainly wasn’t the one I have come to know and love over the the course of four-plus years of almost weekly visits. Their food is absolutely off-the-chart good (the...spice mixture they use for their curries is absolutely the most wonderful flavor) and the prices are completely reasonable, especially given the massive portions (I always get two meals out of a roti with a side of plantains and beans/rice). The folks that run it are kind and lovely...and frequently also insanely busy because they do a massive take-out and delivery business. If they’re a little short with you on occasion, don’t take it personally...it’s called working really hard to keep an amazing treasure of the neighborhood open!
