Bidrage med feedbackGood Basic Khmer Food. Another of my favourite haunts, 10+ years for sure. The attraction for me is the friendly service and the tasty Cambodian food. I give it 80% for consistency; once in a while whoever is cooking is noticeably off.<br/ <br/ There are not many Cambodian restaurants in Montreal; this one is way out in Ville St Laurent, near the Bombardier plant. It's a small unpretentious place, simple and functional. The husband and wife owners are wonderful friendly people; we are always greeted with a warm hello and good service. I love the Lemony Chicken Salad (especially when the chicken is fresh steamed and they use lime juice and not vinegar), the sour and spicy beef soup Cambodian style, stir-fried morning glory leaves with garlic and hot chillies, fish Amok (national dish of Cambodia), vegetable fish soup (somlah kako) and the roasted Quail.<br/ <br/ This is nothing like authentic Cambodian food you would get in Cambodia, but hey there is no way the ingredients that you find over there are readily available super fresh over here, so.....it's still darn good.
Better than food court. One of my favorite asian restaurant. This is not recommended if you are thinking of a nice place to have dinner or spend time with friends. This is a place you would go to when you only have 30 minutes to eat and you don't like take-outs from food court. Very small and doesn't accomodate groups. They only have 1 table that can seat 10
The food tastes delicious and the prices are not expensive at all. Even after living in Thailand for many years, I still think about the flavors of the food here. I can't wait for the opportunity to visit Canada and go to this restaurant.
I absolutely love it! This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone living in or visiting Montreal. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch.
Whenever I visit Montreal, this restaurant is always my go-to favorite. The food here is absolutely delicious!
