Bidrage med feedbackVery nice location and friendly staff, but the food is below average. My husband ordered Filet Mignon who don't look or taste as a piece of Tylloin that should be Filet Mignon. He couldn't cut it with the steak knife. When we paid attention to the attention of our server, he was not answerable. My Greek salad was mostly onions and some wild salad leaves. I wouldn't recommend his place.
On our first night in Montreal, after a long train ride, the six of us were in search of something light to eat. The outdoor tables provided a lovely view of Jacques Cartier Square, however, they were a bit wobbly and showed signs of wear and tear. We ordered onion soup, pizza, a Smoked Meat sandwich, and poutine. While the food was deemed okay, the service was quite slow with only two servers on duty. Overall, our experience was average. With plenty of other dining options in the area, it may be worth looking elsewhere for a meal.
We didn't have to wait at 7:00, we were seated quickly. The outdoor seating area was very nice, away from the neighboring garbage bins. I ordered the lobster bisque but received a delicious tomato basil soup instead. The fried dish was just okay. There wasn't much variety in the beer selection on tap. Overall, it was an inspiring and enjoyable culinary experience.
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux Port houses Restaurant Jacques-Cartier . The service was excellent, but the food was average!!! We ordered French Onion Soup along with Fresh Caesar Salat Chicken with Fritten .
After a hot day in Old Montreal, we were in need of some shade and cold drinks and food, we found it here, great area in the square,Great area to sit and look around. Our server Ralph was very friendly and very happy, service was good,...but he forgot to bring out our app's before our entree's,one of us ordered the soup of the day, Mushroom and it was awful, it tasted like corn starch , so that never got eaten... other then that our other dishes were good, I ordered a cranberry/ ginger ale and got charged for 2 soda's, maybe that's how they do it in Montreal, I found it odd, but over all a good place.
