La Tourangelle - Montlouis-sur-Loire

The lunch menu in €15.40 is indeed very good - it includes a main course, dessert and coffee plus an amuse gaule. The restaurant is located on the left bank of the Loire, and there are free enough parking opposite. Service is good, and clear... a number of locals eat there regularly. N.B. closed on Sunday evening until Tuesday lunch.

A little off the beaten track, i.e. not in the city center, but with the advantage of a sufficient parking space. Excellent menu, super service and delicious food. We go back and try a dinner there next time!

We enjoyed our meal in La Tourangelle. It is much better than the average French bistro, but not at the level of really good restaurants (som e dishes are good, but not just come together)

Their menu is certainly different from most French restaurants. The food was excellent but definitely ecclectic. I had an appetizer of millefeuille of crab that was absolutely outstanding but with strong Spanish influences. Just be ready for a little different ride here!

We went here as it was near our campsite and saw it had good reviews. It did not disappoint. The style of the restaurant is simple and we sat outside. The waitress didn't speak English but we just about got by. We had the set...menu which is incredibly cheap compared to English standards. The food was excellent and interesting as well as being presented beautifully. I had the cold tomato with foam and caramel for my starter which sounds weird but highly recommended. The deserts were amazing too
