The best pizza of montignose, but the tordelli are from another planet. Educational and helpful staff
This restaurant, which I continue to call the trattoria or the tavern of the country (for me this is a great compliment) because here we always strive to satisfy the customer in the greatest simplicity and with genuine and good quality foods, has become, when they are here, a fixed half because I can taste the specialties of the area (which in truth are not many but that if they are done well we do not get tired of eating) whether the weather is hot. This evening I toured the local taste by eating a plate of “tajarin” and a portion I shared with my wife of “Tordelli”. The tajarins were remarkable because they respected the taste of tradition but also the tordelli did not disappoint, in fact they do them with a crescent shape that is not exactly the one expected but the taste is the right one and tonight I have to say that I ate the tordelli with the best cooking taste in the last two years, although, as I told the lady, while respecting the tradition I would like them with a little more pivirin. But remarkable. The other day I had eaten potato meatballs always with thyme that here are more than discreet indeed they are really good. The rest is as compact as strawberries with ice cream they take to finish a meal. We also took half a liter of red wine and water. We spent 34,00 euros. On Tuesday before leaving, I’ll go back even if, by turn, they should be closed but the lady told me that if we see it, we prepare something the same. This I wanted to say with the initial phrase on the availability of the customer.
Cosy place, trattoria style. focaccia waiting for meals, grilled meat mixed for three ABBONDANTE, a medium sized pizza but good (wood oven) two cocacola a beer two bott water, two apple pie and a coffee. €55.00 total. price ok friendly staff family run, good people. I recommend
18/08/2017 this evening with my wife we came to this that more than a restaurant resembles a trattoria or rather a tavern. And that wants to be a compliment. We came because in this part of Tuscany we eat three or four local dishes interesting but that, being part of the tradition to be good, must respect the right flavors. I must say that I was very pleased with the flavors of thyme potato meatballs, and also tajarins (brown pasta of flour and water) which are cooked in a soup made of past beans and whole very good, we finished with a salad. To close the circle of tradition is missing only the rice cake they do not have. But we are very satisfied with everything. Next time we also taste the tordelli (always tradition) that this evening we jumped to taste the tajarin. She really deserves to come back. Expenditure meat appetizer with potato balls at thyme for two, noodles for two and a 1/4 red wine bottle water, coffee and 1 limoncello offered € 31,50 Good also this!
