El Jalisco - Montgomery

Great place to eat I highly recommend it. It's worth the drive.

It's a good place to go if you know what you want. The menu is kind of limited and to me (this is just me personally) it doesn't have that authentic, seasoned flavor. The food is right out of the oven and off the stove hot. There is plenty of the main menu item on your plate. Side items not so much. Plenty of refills, lots of chips and salsa before you wait which isn't very long at all. Great service. Just to me it tastes kinda bland and not a lot if any seasoning. I don't mean bottled hot sauce of one kind or another. I have plenty of my own at home. I mean seasoning for prep and cooking. Try it. It's not that it's bad, just kinda like it's out of a box.

5 stars all across the board, food was delicious, and our waiter was so sweet and patient. Although they were very busy, he never once got frustrated with our 8 month old. He even went out of his way to try and play with him, and made sure to keep everything especially the hot plates out of his reach we have never had a bad experience here, but our waiter really taking his time with us seeing how crazy kids can be was so precious to me. Will definitely be requesting Carlos for now on.

I’ve ate at a lot of Mexican restaurants, El Jalisco beats all of them! always friendly staff, the food always comes out fast, and is hot delicious!!! Definitely my favorite restaurant around!!

By el jalisco to the birthday dinner of my daughter stopped. she just happened to look down and see that little creature? (it was a living cockroache in the out-Queso-dip, she almost ate it.) Not to mention when we drew our waitress attention to the situation he took the bowl. no apologies, no print, and the manager never came to our table. I'm absolutely suspicious! we will never eat here again!
