Capitol Oyster - Montgomery

Honestly, probably the best seafood I?ve had in 10 years, and I used to work at an upscale seafood restaurant. The shrimp tasted like buttery lobster, and the oysters were the largest and the freshest I?ve ever had. Excellent fried okra and coleslaw as well. You really can?t miss out on this place, you gotta stop by if you?re in the area. 10/10

I absolutely love this little place on the river. It is a Southern Masterpiece. Good food, good service and lots of nostalgia. There is the sweetest huge black kitty there who is so friendly and will gladly share your cheese sticks. I have very fond memories of my entire Robbin's Family eating a wonderful meal there right after an interview and photo session for an international magazine article about our family ran transmission shops. I miss my Poppa Robbins so much. Good times!!

Absolutely delicious food. We had the fried catfish, fried shrimp, Snow Crab legs, and more. Everything was perfectly cooked and would definitely recommend!

Just simply amazing. Enough said. Edit: went back today about a month later: I ordered the raw oysters that were tipped over which spilled all the good tasting liquid out. I also ordered the frog legs with coleslaw. The breading on the legs just fell off as soon as I picked them up leaving flavorless frog legs. The coleslaw was just pickled vegetables. Don't recommend.
