La Fonte - MONTESPERTOLI

This place was amazing and worth our trip from florenz. sylvia was so nice there and had a great customer service. the food was also delicious. we had tofu, since and even vegan dessert!

Ristorante la fonte is located in a beautiful old Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by vines and olive trees. the environment is magical; silvia and gigis greeting and eating were just as good. a thing I like to travel as a vegan is that we try restaurants. who are out of the beaten away and thereby enjoy some authentic hospitality. at la fonte all their sincean and tofu in-house are made, and the menu changes every day. we enjoyed delicious creamscioni, fennel soup, tempeh packed in cauliflower, and a selection of homemade dolci. the evening was still a little cool, so illuminated silvia friendly the fire for us and even let us blow out a few melodies on the piano. we felt like home. a free after-dinner grappa with relaxed and unmarried service has simply improved the evening. silvia and gigi, we can't wait to come back!

The trip to this restaurant was beautiful and the location beautiful, the restaurant welcoming and comfortable and silvias kitchen was fantastic. she made us welcome and feel at home. we will definitely visit them on our next trip to the toskana.

Two of our group are vegetarian and we always try to find somewhere veggie or vegan when we are gone, but didn't think we would manage it in italia! what a wonderful surprise to find this fantastic little restaurant 20 km from where we stay. I picked everything on the menu and enjoyed everything. I liked above all that there was variety through sweet, tofu, pulse and brote, all mix aromen that were very Italian. I especially loved the baba ganoush, something I never liked before (maybe this is the way it is meant to make, we all enjoyed four courses with wine and coffee for a very cheap and special evening friends. it is worth noting that the three carnivores would also love it and return happy. we also loved the owner, a charming lady who was happy to translate everything, chat with us and keep us well fed! grazie!

Very good and original food. Every time we discover a new flavor, a new combination, a new idea... the food is always cautiously prepared and presented and the experience has been very positive every single time. Sweet owners and deserts!! Definitely a good pick for...vegetarians!!
