Bidrage med feedbackWhat a really great spot in Monterey for such a beautiful spot with great food I was surprised it wasn't more busy on a Friday night. From the people who were friendly and accommodating, the ambience and the quality of the food, this place is definitely on my list to go back to next time I'm in town.
The food and service was excellent! We were seated at a good size table next to the fire place which was wonderful. And, since it was our anniversary they brought out 2 glasses of champagne. We really enjoyed the dinner. We ordered the ribeye steak, pasta and the shaved broccoli salad. Everything was great.
We had a great dinner for my wife's birthday. The hostess, wait staff, and kitchen were all very attentive to my wife's food allergies and were very accommodating. Our server, Rachel, was excellent; she was friendly, professional, and even took some time to chat for a couple of minutes when she wasn't too busy. The food was amazing. We had duck liver mousse toast (to die for! , and Australian Wagyu bavette steak (cooked perfectly medium rare , and the panacotta with grapefruit slices, which were charred, for dessert. We were presented with tasting-size pours of sparkling wine for my wife's birthday when we sat down (we much preferred that instead of a complimentary dessert . Highly recommended!
Overall not overly impressed. Great service. We were seated at a table wedged between a doorway and a staircase... considering that we made reservations well in advance, this was sub par seating. Food was fine. Would not return.
The food is outstanding and served in a welcoming, comfortable environment. Rachel, our server, was professional, helpful, friendly, and always there when we needed her without being around when we didn't. We will return here again and again.
