Ike's Love Sandwiches - Monterey

OMG, how have I been missing out on these sandwiches? The Hunter Pence is delicious. I'll definitely order again or drop in when I'm in the area.

I really like this sandwich shop, but I have to go with 3 stars due to conflict problems. my Go-to order is the pee wee sandwich (vegan,) but it is preparation is often inconsistent. some days it comes out perfectly, and other days it lacks soße, certain sweets are omitted, etc. I still get this shop, regardless of because I appreciate their vegan options. Moreover, ideally, the "meat" part could be a little bigger. in the rule they order double meat? the then the sandwich feel more complete, but the total cost of the sandwich is about $17. overall, would I appreciate a larger proportion of meat? but more important, more consistency/attention to detail.

I've been to other Ike's and went to this one because I've enjoyed it before. They seemed to move a bit too fast as they swaped my and my husband's bread. It was a bit disappointing considering it's not a cheap sandwich shop. Since we were in a rush, we begrudgingly ate our sandwiches on the wrong bread. UPDATE: Increased to 3 stars because the owner reached out to me about my experience and provided contact info. They mailed me a free sandwich coupon and a $3 off coupon. I appreciate when owners do their best to make a bad experience right, so this was a nice surprise. And since I do enjoy their sandwiches most of the time, I will be back to use my coupons

Pretty hyped up, even we thought it would be great with so many vegan vegetarian options, but the sandwiches were a little disappointing. We ordered 3 different types and not much taste difference in all. Found it pretty expensive for a sandwich and not worth the money. The sandwiches were soggy and tasteless. Subways is way better and cheaper. Would not go back again nor recommend.
