Bidrage med feedbackWhile waiting for our table to be ready, we are just chilling in front while you can see the kitchen area, this hispanic fat boy is using his phone while cooking the food , he dont use gloves. Common now, after texting someone you dont even wash your hand to continue what you need to do. or at least after using your phone just freaking wear gloves before you grab the ingredients . This dude dont know what hygiene means
Our go-to ramen place. Always consistent and love their salad that comes with the combo. Only thing is during the most recent visit I noticed there's some funky smell; maybe due to recent heatwave and AC wasn't on high enough caused the funky odor? Anyhow next time back will try to sit outside.
If you're in the area, please try this place out, the people there are super nice and the ramen here is really rich and flavorful, plus you can get half sized bowls which is a big plus to me, and the side dishes are good too
Ordered fried rice , where it indicates pork and imitation crab in description but there NO pork.No imitation crab. Flase advertising
Daikokuya looked like a pretty popular ramen spot out in Monterey Park, so I decided to give it a try. The shop is not big. There are only a few tables and the rest of the seats are alongside the kitchen. On a Saturday night, all tables were already filled, so I had to put my name down and wait for a party of 2. Not sure how long I waited, but it felt like forever. Finally got seated and we decided to get the homemade gyozas, Spicy Miso Ramen, and a Daikoku Ramen combination, which includes a small pork cutlet bowl and a side salad. The gyozas were good, but I didn't see anything special about them. The ramen broth was very rich, but expected to have a little more flavor and spice. The ramen had a good texture to it. I felt like there wasn't enough toppings in each ramen bowl. I would pass on the pork cutlet bowl. The pork cutlet wasn't crispy and there wasn't much flavor to it. There was more rice than pork cutlet and egg, so I felt like I was eating plain rice. I really wanted to enjoy this ramen spot as it was highly rated, but sadly, I just thought it was OK. The price and the quality of food was not worth the wait.
