Venice Room - Monterey Park

What a fantastic, unique experience! Everyone was so friendly and the food was excellent! Definitely get the ice cream and give their wonderful Old Fashioned a try! Will be back next time I visit! A true one of a kind place.

Great bar terrific friendly bartender. Good grub as well. Karaoke on certain nights. Outdoor covered patio to get away from the Heat. Mostly an older crowd. Dim lights inside very cozy. Bring a date bring your woman bring your man. Get refreshed. Get renewed. And get your groove on and have a good time. One of my favorites.

The Venice Room is a classic steak house that has been around since the 50's and I dont think the decor has changed since then. But what HAS changed is the menu. We came here for Father's Day and I am vegetarian so I had already mentally prepared to order from the side dish section as I often do when someone else chooses the restaurant but I was so pleasantly surprised to see vegetarian and vegan options! That I didn't expect! I ordered the impossible burger with grilled onions and mushrooms and I devoured it! SO YUMMY! They also have impossible tacos, party melt and nachos! Yes please! They also have all the steak house classics you would find at most steak houses. Everyone in our party was happy! They also have great drink specials. If you're looking for a no frills, casual steak house, this is the spot.

Very casual w a limited menu, nevertheless. Service was excellent, drinks were well prepared. Sandwiches were very good. Yesenia is a super server. We were very satisfied w food and service.

Met a friend here for a bite to eat, a couple of drinks and to sing karaoke on a Saturday night. Food was very good, drink prices were normal average for my Jameson on the rocks and my friend's Perrier. There were quite a few singers there on that night, but the KJ kept things moving nicely and even with the crowd there,my friend and I both were able to sing 4 songs each, between 7pm and 10:30pm. GOOD TIME!!
