Ono Grill - Monterey Park

Small place with tons of flavor! 1 star for Cleanliness 1 star for Menu Variety 1 star for Ambience 1 star for Customer Service 1 star for Overall Experience I definitely recommend this place for lovers of places like Ono Hawaiian and Golden Bowl. The volcano bowl is delicious!

This place, just like other local classics, has changed and not for the better. It use to have consistency with flavor and service and now the flavor has decline in some, not all, dishes and with some of the service. Either the recipes have changed or the way people care about the recipes has changed. I'll still go because the mac is delicious and they have a pretty decent Katsu. It's still not bad but it's just not what it use to be.

Beef is tender to me and I love steak. Got the regular Volcano bowl. It has teriyaki beef and chicken, and potato salad. It's topped off with a Chinese type chili garlic sauce. ooooh I love spicy so be careful if you don't like spicy.

This place is great. Over the pass few months the owner/s been remodeling and it's looks better everytime I come. If it's your first time, you have to try the volcano. Good food.
