Fantastic place in the centre of Madrid with a surprising menu and great service. The Vacalao is unbelievable, and the croquetas are otherworldly. Also, the place has a great vibe, it's nicely decorated and lively but quiet. I recommend it without a doubt!

Best vegan experience ever! The restaurant's atmosphere is cosy and warm, the staff is great, we were served by Skyl and he was very kind and helpful. We recomend the Korean Ramen and the Encheesladas.

Tiny restaurant serving vegan versions of hotdogs, burgers and other comfort food. The meat , seemingly made of tofu, tasted bland. To give the hotdogs some taste, they we 're covered in a hotchpotch of unappetizing sauces. The chicken nuggets were dry and earthy, almost inedible without dip. Both the Cheddar and Cabrales cheeses had nothing to do with the real thing. Overall, our dinner at Distrito Vegano was a mediocre culinary experience. Imitating meat dishes is almost unavoidably disappointing. Unless you 're vegan and thus have limited options, I wouldn 't come here. For some reason, though, this place is very popular. And since it 's very small (five tables or so), making a reservation is a must.
