Ristobar La Coccinella - MONTEFIASCONE

Very nice service. Tasty pizza. The manager is so polite and serviceable. We had Pizza and vegetables that were excellent!

Hi fellow travellers i have been back to italy and to Montefiascone in the last few months,once again taking my prime position at the ristobar la Coccinella,and the owner Bruno never dissapoints me,with a fine menu,from fish to meats,pasta pizza.in fact if you call him well in advance whatever you want he will get it and cook to perfection.when he told me this i decided to put this to the test,so i ordered an out of season dish of pasta cinngale,this is a beautiful dish of Boar meat sauce with whichever pasta you choose,i could,nt believe it when i arrived for lunch the next day,and wallaa my favourite Italian dish was waiting for me. When you consider that this is normally a winter dish i was astonished.also in the past i brought some friends with me and we had a wonderful evening meal,beautiful house wine,and he also provided a kareokee night,please go to facebook and watch and listen to bruno sing he is wonderful,and also his staff,Veronica,who always welcomes everybody with her beautiful smile.La Coccinella bar is just a 400 meters from the historical center so if your in Montefiascone,trust me you wont be disapointed,and you will be very impressed with the prices

As i visit Montefiascone quite a lot i like to try all new bars and restuarants,but this was a real find i went here most evenings after spending time at the beautiful lake bolsena,a real paradise.The first thing you recieve free of charge is a wonderful welcome from Bruno and his family and also Veronica,it does not matter if you want just a coffe or a 5 course lunch or dinner you will recieve the same attention.I brought 6 of my friends for dinner and it was beautiful,they were quite surprised as they live in the area and had not visited this place before under the new owner and thanked me for this experience.Bruno also speakes english which was a great comfort to me as my italian is not so good,this place is also very reasonable on price.So if its just a few cold beers,a cperfectly chilled glass of wine, lunch or dinner this is the place to go.Carlsberg dont do paradise but if they did the Coccinella Ristobar and the lake Bolsena in the beautiful town of Montefiascone would be it David from Ireland
