Well hidden but always full... this should be a sign! Consistently good simple country food, wonderful sausages and more, polenta with everything... excellent selection of cheese. The house wine is ... cheap, so ok.. very friendly service, one of our favorite grotti.

Well done!! On this St. Joseph's Day, it was difficult for me to find a Grotto that could accommodate me, even alone. The Winkelried tenants made room for me and fed me, and quite well. Without consulting any menu, the cook and his serving wife? simply asked me if I was hungry. Local salameto, quail eggs on slate and polenta with 3 ! Osso bucci. I was welcomed like a king and the food was excellent. I will come back with my family for sure
