We were lucky to get the last table on a busy Sunday lunchtime. We took advantage of the local Buonamico wines and had a wonderful slow meal. The food isn't fancy, but its freshly made and delicious. Good choice for veggies as well as meat eaters. Montecarlo is a lovely village in the hills outside of Lucca and definitely recommend

We were eight seeing the day and were famished. Not easy to find a place that will feed you. These people but together a plate of appetizers and we ordered drinks and it was just perfect The service was solid. The ambiance fit the mood, the food tasty and the pricing very good. This family-run restaurant is excellent. And you really have to book a table in advance (we found out the hard way! . Because it is also very popular for the locals.They serve fantastic Italian food. The father is in control, and his daughter and son waits on you. And if you like the wine (we did , then you can buy a bottle or a box for a reasonable price. One of the best restaurants in Montecarlo (we tried them all! . But try it for yourself. Just remember to book in advance.

Di solito vado in questo posto e devo dire che è molto bello e caratteristico. si beve vini molto buoni molto preziosi. mangiare è di ottima qualità e si spendono anche figure molto oneste. personale squisito e molto ospitale.

Ah, sì, bel posto e cucina. scoprire a pranzo e tornare alla sera. gestione eccellente e ben tenuta. bello con la famiglia e gli amici.
