Osteria Al Lampion - MONTEBELLUNA

This was an amazing restaurant! The food was top class. I tried wonderful, beautifully presented appetizers and entrees. I have to say that these were some of the very best appetizers I have ever had. I wish I could tell you all the different, delectable foods we had, but since I don 't speak Italian, I will try to describe some of them... one of the appetizers was toast, but no ordinary toast. This toast had pheasant and blue crab in an amazing sauce with, beautiful and tasty additional sides such as, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms and a dip of sorts. This was my favorite. The entrees were superb. My favorite being the cow cheek . To those of you that find that wording funny, that would be a very simplistic description of this entrée. The meat actually was melt-in-your-mouth tender and just absolutely delicious. And the deserts, just Wow! The lemon shaped desert was a lemon mousse with a mint cream filling and chocolate crumbles. I have to say it is one of my favorites. What an interesting and delightfully tasty desert. I would go into more detail about other appetizers, entrees and deserts but I feel like I am in a food coma. Must sleep! The chef came out and greeted us...and what a nice, talented and creative man he is! The service was excellent; the food was terrific, and we had an amazing time. This is a MUST TRY restaurant. The restaurant sure helps one live the saying... la dolce vita .

Posto super accogliente. .tipico di una taverna veneziana, ma con una cucina a 5 stelle... la taverna fa il resto, molto preparato e disponibile, ti fa tornare indietro. . vino eccellente e materie prime di livello...top
