The Green - Monte Verde

The restaurant is cool and clean, the waiters are friendly. I ate Tropical Burger, who was very tasty. The pineapple was great. The burger of the house is also delicious. If you want a good burger, go here.

Very recommended! We went to dinner, everything tasted amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We have the Burger de la casa and the aglio spaghetti. The burger was excellent with a juicy, fluffy, warm bread and crispy bacon. The spaghetti was al dente, a little lighter on the salt side, but to add the chili sauce, made it perfect. Would come back to a heartbeat!

We enjoyed the linguini Alfredo con pollo and linguini aglio olio with vegetables and added some shrimps. The pasta was al dente (thanks) and quite delicious. They were very generous with the shrimps and the service was also good. We also had the Arugula who was decent, but no bells or pipes. Overall, I would especially recommend if you have to fulfill a pasta desire.

The place is on the first floor. Small but sweet restaurant. In good weather you will see the cloud forest from the balcony. The food is delicious and has large portions.

This was hands down one of the best chicken Marsala (mushroom sauce) meals I’ve ever had, the flavor was immaculate. I really liked the hospitality of the host and the atmosphere. The host was also very friendly and approachable, I really wish we were here longer so I could come back and try another dish. They have numerous gluten free options and are knowledgeable about gluten/ celiac disease. I started off with the watermelon smoothie which was my favorite smoothie in Costa Rica. The sweetness of the watermelon was a refreshing drink after a long day of hiking. I then finished the evening off with the “Pollo Hongos”. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate!! Well done to the staff at this fine establishment. Pura Vida !
