D Thomas - Monte Verde

I was very impressed by the pasta dish I ordered. It tasted like the noodles were homemade and all spices and flavors were on point. The price was also very reasonable (I think my pasta dish was 4,500). Also the mint had lemonade and it was amazing the mint was so fresh. Can't really comment on how we sat on an outside table. Service was prompt. Would highly recommend this place.

I had the New York Strip Steak at this restaurant and it was cooked perfectly. It was tender and came with a delicious sweet sauce that paired well with the rosemary garnish. The restaurant is family owned, with the waiter and his wife being the owners and cooks. This meal was the perfect way to end our stay in Monteverde- Pura Vida!

AMAZING! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the Yellowfin Tuna, while my sister had the New York Strip, and we both ended up swapping plates. The service was great, and I loved that it was a family restaurant. When we left, Jose introduced us to his wife, the cook, and his son, after whom the restaurant is named. If you're in Monteverde, Ristorante D’ Thomas is a must-visit!

I had light chicks, that was juicy and tasteful. The hot sauce was intensely hot and homemade but also very well flavored. My fiancée had the tuna steak, also very good, slightly boiled. attentive and courteous staff. Definitely recommend.

I recently dined at this family-owned restaurant with my wife and two daughters. The food was incredible and had a distinct style. The ambiance was very peaceful, with soft background music playing. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. It was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
