Soho Pizza Grill - Montclair

I had forgotten my daughter’s lunch and called at 11am. The gentleman who answered the phone was so kind to take my order, find out exactly how to get it to my daughter’s school, and assure me he would call me back if anything happened with the delivery. She was so happy and told me how delicious the pizza was. I was so blown away by the kindness this business showed to me and my little one. My family has found a new pizza place to enjoy!

Food is decent pizzas are great, I like the dough and the crust. Pastas are on the salty side. Just a couple simple recommendations to make the experience better: add some veggie only specialty pizza options streamline your menus online. When I view your menu through google I see one thing. When I click to order for pickup, there are multiple forums through which I can place an order, however the menu options appear to be slightly different through each forum (EatStreet and Slice). They are different from one another, AND different from the menu I see through google. And the prices all seem to be different too. For example, try to order just “spaghetti and meatballs”. I could type out all the inconsistencies I found but it’s exhausting. This is immensely frustrating. One time I was unable to customize my pizza order through the online ordering forum the way I wanted, and was confused about options available because of discrepancies between the menus, so I called up the shop and asked about options available, and was told that the restaurant could “make anything, just tell me what you want”. If only this ease and flexibility could be conveyed through the online ordering mechanism. It would be so great. Because of my experience, I feel inclined to call in my order every time. Alas, it seems you are too busy to reliably pick up your phone. So please, streamline the menus, at the very least for consistency.

This place is amazing, great owner, amazing pizza. Gotta ask for it well done if you like crispy. They don’t require masks which is refreshing and they aren’t liberal snowflakes.

Wonderful service. Great food. They stick to their scope of practice, which is food so they don't practice medicine without a license like some other restaurants.

Very neat and convenient spot. They provide generous portions and for fair prices. I enjoyed the menu very much and the waiters were very welcoming and explanatory. I recommend this place.
