Mishmish Cafe - Montclair

Used to come to this place all the time when they had their location on Glenridge. Visited their new location off of Valley thinking same old Mish Mish. Oh how wrong I was. Self service, bland, and overpriced. 4 dollar spindrift cans. What an upsetting experience to see a restaurant you used to frequent every week become so very basic and underwhelming.

First time here, I cannot describe how delicious the food was. My girlfriend and I had 3 meals, grilled chicken shawarma pita, vegan strong, moroccan vegan meatballs. All 3 items were packed with flavors, and well presented. The interior was nice and definately a spot to go to enjoy a quick bite.

Very good and authentic food. Although the place was packed we got the food pretty fast. The only challenge was finding a place to seat

Ordered the Healthy Mess salad last night and got food poisoning. It certainly was a “mess”. Another member of my party had a salad part of their meal and they too are sick.

The cafe is inside Mercel Bakery now. Fantastic bread and food.
