Jacka€™s Seafood Shack - Montclair

The lobster roll was AMAZING! The dessert... not so much.

I hesitate to give this place a good review not because they don’t deserve it because nobody seems to know about it, and I kinda want to keep it that way, LoL! If you imagine yourself eating seafood in a New England restaurant known only to locals, Jack’s is exactly like that but without the 3 hour drive. It’s not dressy, but is great for small groups and celebrations. BYOB.

Craved a Connecticut style lobster roll and what better place to go. Delicious and those home made potato chips are to die for!

Enjoyed my first experience here at Jack's but I will return and I hope soon. Was able to park right across the street in the museum lot which is a huge plus. The gent at the front was very helpful and added to the evening as he welcomed us. The food was delicious and the portions were great. The place was hopping on a Saturday evening which is great because that means the the place is here to stay!

Best Grouper sandwich ever! Wait staff very friendly Only wish I lived a bit closer!
