Gosman's Dock - MONTAUK

We ordered the salmon, burger shrimp basket. It was great. Update my mom got really bad food poisoning that lasted a month after this. She thinks it was the Cole slaw in the shrimp basket.

After reading the latest reviews, I was hesitant about dining at this restaurant. Some reviews mentioned a change in chef and the resulting impact. What we encountered was a limited menu and unappetizing food. It was not worth the price. While we have no complaints about the location, service, or atmosphere, people primarily visit a restaurant for the quality of the food.

The best fish and lobster can be found on the East Coast.

The college kids left and the service went way down...plus the live lobster was very salty and dry after waiting almost an hour for it to arrive.

This restaurant in Montauk used to be one of the top spots for seafood, but it has declined in quality.
