Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant offers kosher options, but the high prices are not justified. The tables were dirty and had not been cleaned, so we had to clean them ourselves. The self-service setup was not appealing and the food was mediocre, with overly salty soup and overly sweet salad dressing. Overall, Montreal needs more quality kosher restaurants to make dining experiences worth the trip.
This restaurant serves the best bagels made in their wood stove. Their fresh salads are a must-try. The bagels are truly addicting. Be sure to try the Milkshake Reboot - you won't regret it.
Despite the good food and friendly staff, the restaurant was let down by dirty tables. There were crumbs, leftover food, used plates, cups, and disposable cutlery scattered around. A group of friends left after one of them stepped on a sticky spot from a spilled drink. Another group of customers decided to sit outside due to the lack of cleanliness inside. A family had to clean their own table before sitting down. I complained to the manager before leaving.
This place was bought and renovated, and is an improvement over the previous bagel bakery, which was there with regard to product offers and design. but the bagels are simply in order. they would not be acceptable in a city with so many better choices... if this were not a kosher institution. the bagels were actually better at the previous place. the service also leaves a little to wish, it can often feel very disorganized, and slow, even if people work there pleasantly. I recently picked up a dozen special bags and 5 of them were burned. they really should not sell sub-standard product, but again, they can use this type of cache away, because it is very few options if you want a kosher product. some of their offers are okay, but the prices are a little high for what it is. overall a very average place, with an imprisoned market.
Bagels baked on premises. Excellent breakfast and lunch menu. All the food is fresh, including the orange juice. Small, but clean, eating area. Highly worth the trip.
