L'estavou - Mont-Dore

Super Friendly, Fab Food, Great Ambience. We booked last moment and 1 hour later we returned and were treated to a really friendly welcome and served super lovely food. Good value, dog friendly, lovely alpine style interior. Recommended

We chose this restaurant as our party had tried a lot of Auvergne food and restaurants. Their menu du jour had something different (coq au vin) which we all intended to try, and so we booked in advance. When we went to order it was off ' we have been too busy to make another ' leaving just two choices on their menu, both of which we had eaten in previous two days. It was too late to go elsewhere so we ate. Service initially was fairly prompt, although there were only three tables taken in the restaurant, but deteriorated as the evening went on, as the chef and server decided to chat extensively to some friends of theirs who popped in. The food was average lots of focus on different colours on the plate, but little by way of flavour. Overall our most disappointing meal during a week in the Auvergne.

Very good reception, in this restaurant that does not pay for the extra. What a good surprise, we ate an excellent truffle followed by a very refined dessert. Really a very good address, to remember

An excellent restaurant everything is very good service is suitable and smiling. quantity and quality are at the rendezvous. even if the room is small, this restaurant knows how to offer what it is asked
