Bidrage med feedbackOur first night here and this was convenient. The waitress was lovely and did her best to work with us nonFrench speakers. Dad ordered the steak....one more time, PJ ordered the chicken and the lamb chops for me. We all ordered veges to accompany our meals. I accidentally ordered a 1/2 carafe of wine...Dad had an edelweiss beer. The degree of cooking of steak varies greatly from Australia to France be warned!! Their medium is our blue/rare at best... The lamb was ok, a bit stewed if anything, the chicken was delicious, the steak still mooing but ok flavourwise. The veges were awful, old green beans... The creme brulee was quite nice and the language gap gave us 2 coffees...

On a rainy Sunday in September we came upon this restaurant and were attracted by the French cuisine at good prices. My husband had been hankering after Moules Frites and I was tempted by the lamb. The place was busy with a local clientele enjoying a buffet. Service was very cheerful and welcoming and the place had a lovely atmosphere. The food lived up to expectations and we were both more than satisfied with the meals we had ordered, delicious. We have paid a lot more in France for food of much lower quality. Simple French cuisine done well cannot be beaten.
