Zum Hotel Stern - Monschau

The restaurant/hotel is located directly on the central market square in Monschau, in a beautiful old semi-concrete house. The service is very friendly and the boss is really friendly. We ordered four different dishes that were all delicious. The prices were also fair. Conclusion: highly recommended!

I had no words for this place. The staff is terrible, they do not help you and are not friendly at all (especially the brave man). They just stare at you while they smoke in front of you. We had to sit somewhere because we were hungry and all the other restaurants were full. Do not let yourself be fooled by the surroundings and the beautiful place. WORST PLACE EVER!

Food quality/price acceptable but lousy rude arrogant waiter, who forgets people also understand Italian and who consoles himself thinking people must be Dutch if they dont tip him... Think again. This is the first time in my life I didn’t tip a waiter. Arrogance doesn’t pay. Look fir another job where you don’t meet people.
